The municipality of Ferizaj and that of Viti have failed to sign an agreement for the construction of a common collector for the treatment of waste water for nearly ten years.
The sewage from the villages of Zllatar, Dardani, Mirosalë and Sojevë of the Ferizaj Municipality is flooding the agricultural plots and the yards of the houses of the villages of Slatina e Eperme and Slatina e Poshtme of the Municipality of Vitia, Koha Ditore writes today.
For years, the municipality of Viti has committed to implement such an agreement several times, but it has been rejected by the executive of the municipality of Ferizaj. This issue has been debated for a long time even in the last meeting of the KK in Ferizaj, until the residents of those localities filed several complaints to the Municipality of Ferizaj and Viti regarding the treatment of waste water.
