The family of Gani Gjokaj, the driver killed in Gllogjan on November 26, has welcomed yesterday's arrests regarding the tragedy of November 26, where, in addition to the driver, two students from the village of Gllogjan in Deçan were killed.
Xhafer Gjokaj, in his 80s, the father of the deceased Gani Gjokaj, said on Sunday to KOĖN that he expects the state to clarify the whole case and pronounce the most severe punishments for the murderers.
"I am satisfied with the arrests and I expect the most severe punishments for the murderers who massacred students as well", he said from his room where he was staying with his brother Smaili, where he says that every day they wait for people who still go for consolation there.
Asked if he and his family knew the arrested persons, whose names were given to the media the day before, the victim's father denied such a thing.
"No, we don't know them, Gllogjani is big, those who said they were arrested, we don't know who they are or where they are", said Xhafer Gjokaj.

The family of the driver killed in Gllogjan does not know of any conflict between the deceased and anyone
He and his brother, during the conversation for KOĖN, have categorically denied the possibility of the eventual involvement and influence of their late relative in the suicide of a girl from Gllogjani, which has been talked about and written about for several days.
"If there was something real here, the family of that chick should have brought us people according to tradition and we had found a way around this work, we had responded, but we have not received a single word, not a single 'salam' from anyone about these and those words, if those who were arrested said so, they are only justifying themselves", said the father of the murdered driver.
"My son has never been like that, come here and all the way to Peja because you can't find anyone who speaks badly of him", he drew attention.
"If I had a grudge against someone, why did the killers wear masks when they shot at the bus, when someone is killed for revenge, they are killed openly and the responsibility is taken, and not like this," he added.
"If there was responsibility for the suicide of that chick they are saying from Gllogjan, the boy would not have worked in Gllogjan with a bus, even a year after that chick died", Xhafer Gjokaj gave another explanation.
His brother Smajli is connected with another element.
"Last night, after the news of these arrests was announced, I heard that our son was interrogated about that girl, his phone was temporarily taken, and after he was found not guilty, he was released. If he was responsible, our son would not be left alone. free from the state now more than a year after the suicide of that girl", he said.
