The head of the Kosovo delegation in the dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia, mediated by the European Union, Avni Arifi, has announced how the talks with the representatives of the Serbian state in Brussels went, saying that they agreed that the comments should be made by the office for information and EU.
Arifi, through a status on Facebook, has clarified that it belongs to the composition of the Kosovo delegation, only three political representatives have participated; Ardian Arifaj, Blerand Stavileci and Endrit Shala, while all other members of the delegation are experts in the fields.
Dear friends,
Yesterday in Brussels, we concluded the two-day talks with the representatives of the Serbian state mediated by the EU. As for how the talks went, we have agreed that the comments will be made by the EU information office. For the sake of fairness, I will adhere to this agreement and I apologize to all those journalists who these days were looking for information that I could not answer.
I feel obliged to make a clarification regarding the composition of the Kosovo delegation. Only three political representatives (Ardian Arifaj, Blerand Stavileci and Endrit Shala) participated in this delegation that I lead. All other members of the delegation are experts in the fields and the only criterion for participation was expertise in the field, functional position within the relevant institution with the agreement and previous participation in this important process for Kosovo.
On this occasion, I thank the general secretaries of the MoD, MAH and MIA, the state official for IBM, KOST officials, officials from the Judicial Council of Kosovo, the ARBK official, and other officials who, with their expertise and dedication to the process, for this process to take the right direction and epilogue.
