The independent candidate for mayor of Skenderaj, Bekim Jashari, during today met with experts in the field of architecture and engineering of this municipality, in which case he was offered support for their ideas that will serve the good of the municipality .
Jashari said that his candidacy for mayor was a demand of society, and that he did not enter the race for personal interests, but for the good of the country, while he promised to govern with responsibility, accountability and transparency during the mandate his governing body at the head of the municipality of Skenderaj.
"Bekimi guarantees you that if I am lucky enough to be president after October 22, I will be responsible and there will be accountability and transparency. When I say transparency, I say it with full awareness that regardless of what projects will be done, big or small, whoever it is, an ordinary citizen, whether he wants to have information about how it was done, great work or small, he will have the information", he said.
Jashari said that for matters of urban development, planning and capital investments, he will create a committee for planning and a working group for capital investments.
"In accordance with the law, I plan to create a planning committee or group, which will consist only of experts and will make recommendations, which I will try to implement meticulously, cooperating with you during the implementation of them in practice. Also, I will create a working group for capital investments, which whether financed by the municipality, whether by central institutions or even various donations through your recommendations, will go to those places where there is the greatest need and where they will have more impact on the overall development of the municipality", said Jashari.

In the meeting with the experts, they discussed some topics such as urban planning and development so far, in which case the architect, at the same time the former director of Urban Planning and Development, Ylber Morina informed Bekim Jashari about several projects in Skenderaj.
"The municipal development plan, we have five super centers for the municipality of Skenderaj, every local community has a super center. What have been left behind, those super centers, what needs to be planned to make a development plan for these centers and what remains to be planned in the future by the next mayor of the municipality to move forward", he said.
Meanwhile, engineer Ragip Behrami asked to create conditions for potential investors in this municipality and control the quality of materials in construction projects.
"Conditions must be created for potential investors, with all aspects that are necessary, considering that the field of construction in our municipality and at the country level is a very important factor for increasing employment for the development and growth of businesses. All the projects that the municipality finances or co-finances with other institutions to find ways to control the quality of works. One of the forms that I have thought of is the control of the quality of the materials from the vocational school itself", he said.
