PDK's candidate for mayor of Podujeva, Isak Shabani, has accused the governments in this municipality of politicizing education, saying that this situation has been going on for decades.
"For 26 years there has been politicization. There are teachers who don't even dare to greet him and leave. One of his directors (Bulliqi) called my brother because you presented a program like this... The criticism was real. Is there any more absurdity than coming to me and saying why you are making this a factor," declared Shabani on the show "Zgjedhjet në KOHË".

"The one who deserves it will be director," he said.
Shabani also criticized the state of schools in the municipality, saying that even basic conditions are not met.
"How can you talk about full-day education when schools lack the most basic things. The hygienic situation is terrible," Shabani continued.
