Salihu: Local elections did not produce an absolute winner

Bekim Salihu

Bekim Salihu from the GAP Institute said that there is no absolute winner of the local elections.

He said on the show "Elections in Time" that he sees the Vetëvendosje Movement as the relative winner, which, according to him, has increased numerically with municipalities.

According to him, other parties are seeing it as a victory that they have managed to retain the municipalities they have led.

"Exclude LDK, which is coming out with two fewer municipalities, and PDK with one large municipality less. The leader of PDK, in his post today, listed the municipalities where he won, but not Drenas, implying that he did not consider PDK's victory in Drenas," he said.

According to him, if Përparim Rama were to lose in Pristina, Lumir Abdixhiku would also lose, and according to him, he would no longer be able to remain as leader of this party.
