In Gracanica, the Albanian Alliance candidate, Leutrim Ajeti, has sought the support of citizens for what he has called “historic change.” Ajeti has promised investments in healthcare, public gardens, and sports facilities for all communities.

The only Albanian candidate for mayor of Graçanica, Leutrim Ajeti, has called on all residents of the municipality to come out and exercise their right to vote on Sunday.

Ajeti is the candidate of the Albanian Alliance, which has gathered all Albanian parties in Graçanica. He said that history will be made on Sunday.

"I, Leutrim Ajeti, will be a candidate for mayor of Graçanica. I invite everyone, without distinction, to vote for Leutrim Ajeti, to vote for our list, to vote for the Albanian Alliance, to vote for history, to vote for change and to vote for the transformation of the municipality of Graçanica. This will be a historic date, it will be a sacred date because together we will change the municipality of Graçanica, we will transform the municipality of Graçanica," said Ajeti.

And in another video that Ajeti shared on Facebook, he promises investments in healthcare.

"During our four years of governance, we will build four health centers in the neighborhoods of Marigona, Uglare, Çagllavica and Kishnica. We will also build the city hospital, one of the greatest needs of the municipality of Gracanica. One of the demands of the citizens of Gracanica is the construction of public kindergartens. During our mandate, we will invest in kindergartens for children in the neighborhoods of Marigona, Uglare, Kishnica and Çagllavica," he continued.

During this mandate, Ajeti served as deputy mayor for communities.

Graçanica has been led by Serb parties since it was established as a municipality in 2009.

In the 2011 census, the municipality was composed of 67% Serbs, 23% Albanians, and 8% Roma and Ashkali. But in the 2024 census, Albanians emerged as the majority in the municipality, with 63 more residents.
