The leader of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Memli Krasniqi, stayed in Podujeva on Saturday in support of the PDK candidate for mayor of this municipality, Isak Shabani.
Krasniqi, at a gathering among the people of Llapje, said that Shabani is a proven man, a patriot and an excellent professional.
"Every vote is one more opportunity for change, every vote is one more opportunity towards victory. And from today I would like to conclude with the message that for Podujeva it is better with number 191 and with PDK. It is better for Podujeva with Isak Shabani", emphasized the PDK leader.
Meanwhile, the PDK candidate for mayor of Podujeva, Isak Shabani, thanking everyone for their support, pledged for economic development, subsidies in agriculture, modernization of schools, and quality health services.
"We do not promise empty things, I do not promise miracles. I promise dedication, I promise honest work, I promise a municipality that works, not talks, an administration that opens doors, not closes them, a government that looks the citizen in the eye, not through the window," said Shabani.
Memli Krasniqi: Gjilan is better with Riad Rashiti
The leader of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Memli Krasniqi, said at a rally in Gjilan that the PDK candidate for mayor of this municipality, Riad Rashiti, is the right person to lead Gjilan.
"It is better for Gjilani with Riad Rashiti, it is better for Gjilani with all of you together, because the time has truly come for Gjilani and we will make the program of Riad and the PDK a reality together," he emphasized.
Meanwhile, Rashiti said that PDK has the best team, the best list and the best program that will give this municipality a new direction.
"I will never distinguish our citizens into us and them, because our city deserves unity, development and a better future. Therefore, on October 12, let us turn hope into victory," said Rashiti.
Local elections are held on October 12.
