Izmaku: The current government of Vushtrri has failed with the leadership in the MED

The candidate for mayor of Vushtrri from the Nisma Social Democratic party, Xhevahire Izmaku, has leveled accusations against the current mayor, Ferit Idrizi, who is also a candidate from the ranks of the PDK.

Izmaku said that the current government in this municipality has failed with the leadership in the MED.

In the show "Elections in the Moment - Debate for Vushtrri", the Nisma candidate stated that intellectual memory has been severed in this municipality because an administrative figure has been placed in charge of education who could have been a good official, but certainly not a director of education.

During this debate, Izmaku said that the lack of infrastructure in the schools of this municipality is worrying.

"In most schools in the municipality of Vushtrri, children are forced to carry water with them, so they do not have drinking water in primary and secondary schools, there is a total lack of lighting around them," she said.

The Initiative candidate has also revealed her promises in this area.

"I will be interested in ensuring that student safety is at the highest level, it will create a safe space for everyone. It is very important to me that our students and children in Vushtrri have scholarships, not selectively... so there will be no separation if there are three students from one family, I will give scholarships as mayor for all three children and not for one because this makes no sense, everyone has their own orientation and their own professional direction," Izmaku added.

Local elections will be held on October 12.
