The Serbian List has been fined 800 euros for placing posters on collective housing facilities on "Princi Milosh" street in North Mitrovica, without the permission of the owners.
According to the decision of the Electoral Panel for Complaints and Appeals, the complaint was filed by the Vetëvendosje Movement.
This action by the Serbian List has violated the article of the Law on General Elections which states that “Prohibited actions of Political Entities... Placing notices, placards and posters, or otherwise placing their names or slogans in connection with the election campaign inside or outside public buildings or structures on or above public roads, on public traffic signs inside or outside spaces or buildings occupied or otherwise used by international organizations or inside or on private spaces without the permission of the owners or users”.
The ECAP has also ordered the Serbian List to remove the posters, saying that if it does not obey the order, it may be sanctioned with additional penalties.
No appeal is allowed against the decision.
The ECAP on Wednesday also published other decisions, following complaints from parties against the Serbian List campaign, calling the complaints of Za Slobodu Pravdu and Opstanak untimely.
