Political parties are continuing their campaign for the local elections today, on the ninth day, holding rallies and meetings with citizens to unveil their plans and programs for four years of governance in the municipalities.
For the municipal elections of October 12, 93 political entities are certified, of which 32 political parties, 2 coalitions, 32 civic initiatives and 27 independent candidates. The total number of candidates representing these political entities is: 5,626 candidates, of which 206 candidates for mayors and 5,420 for members of the Municipal Assemblies.
