The first results from the votes in diplomatic missions have been published. After counting two of the 47 ballot boxes, or more than 4 percent, Vetëvendosje has received 84 percent, or more than 1 votes.

The Democratic Party of Kosovo is second with 7.55 percent of the vote, while the Democratic League of Kosovo is third with 5.6 percent.

The Alliance follows with less than two percent.

The counting of only four percent of the votes in diplomatic missions has also changed the current projection of the allocation of seats in the Assembly.

Vetëvendosje will now, according to the Central Election Commission website, take the 49th seat, reducing the LDK to 19 from the 20 projected in the preliminary vote in Kosovo.

PDK remains second with 24 seats.

AAK retains 8 seats.

The allocation of seats is based on the D'Hondt formula. The 5 percent coefficient means that some parties with fewer votes are left out of the Assembly. Their percentage is ultimately distributed to parties that have exceeded the coefficient.
