The leader of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) list and this party's candidate for president, Vjosa Osmani, has declared that her name will not become an obstacle to the formation of the country's institutions, emphasizing that she is ready to withdraw if this would serve to overcome the political deadlock after the June 7 elections.
Osmani said that she has never insisted on receiving a second presidential term at any cost and that her priority remains strengthening Kosovo's institutions.

Letter to the Reader — Why We're Asking for Your Support Contribute"At no point will my name become a reason for a blockade. Not because I made it clear even before the cooperation with the LDK began, even when I expressed interest in running for a second term, I did not insist in any way, I did not have to. I will be the first to withdraw if we can give the country strong institutions," Osmani declared in "Elections in the Time".
She said that her commitment has been focused on advancing Kosovo's strategic interests in relation to international allies, mentioning cooperation with the United States of America and other partner countries.
According to Osmani, during this mandate, a new chapter has been opened in relations with the US and other allies, with the aim of bringing Kosovo closer to NATO membership and completing the process of international recognition.
"My only interest has been in the direction of that since we won a new chapter of cooperation with the US and other allied states, where we discussed a clear path forward with President Trump and Secretary Rubio, to bring Kosovo into NATO, to conclude the recognition process. We managed to get a kind of concreteness for the inviolability of our borders within this year, with close work with the Trump administration," Osmani said.
