Counting incomplete only in Pristina

Only in Pristina has the counting of votes from the June 7 elections not been completed.

The Central Election Commission confirmed on Friday that the counting of polling stations in the municipalities of Gjilan and Prizren was also completed during the day. Meanwhile, in Pristina, less than 30 percent of polling stations – or about 70 polling stations – remain.

At the same time, the counting of 26 polling stations out of 47 in diplomatic missions has also been completed. On June 6, 2026, voting took place in 30 diplomatic missions, in 18 different countries. Out of 27,724 registered citizens, 22,860 or 82.46% voted.

Regarding the evaluation of alleged packages with ballots from outside Kosovo, so far 40,414 have been approved, while 1447 have been rejected. There are about 60,000 more to be evaluated.

According to preliminary results and the counted ballot boxes of diplomatic missions, Vetëvendosje is leading with about 43 percent or 49 seats. The Democratic Party is second with about 21 percent or 24 seats in the Assembly. The Democratic League has about 17 percent or 19 seats, while the Alliance has seven percent or eight seats.
