The candidate for prime minister from the Vetëvendosje Movement, Albin Kurti, has called for the protection of the vote and respect for the will of citizens during the counting process.
Through a reaction on social media, Kurti emphasized that the will of citizens expressed in today's elections is contained within the ballot boxes and that its protection is a necessary condition for the legitimacy and credibility of the electoral process.
He addressed the election commissioners and observers, emphasizing their responsibility at this stage of the process.
"In these moments, our eyes, ears and attention are on you, commissioners and observers. A high institutional and noble responsibility weighs on you," Kurti declared.
