The Vice President of the Vetëvendosje Movement, Glauk Konjufca, at the party's celebration for the victory in the June 7 elections, congratulated VV followers on the "Kurti 4" Government.
With more than 99 percent of the votes counted, VV remains in first place, but has received close to 43 percent, falling by about 8 percentage points compared to the December 28 elections, without the diaspora votes yet being counted.
With the current percentage, VV has 48 seats in the Assembly.
Despite this, Konjufca called the victory "magnificent."
The leader of the Guxo party, which is in coalition with the VV, called Sunday's result "the most important victory so far."
