Daut Haradinaj has said that he is making room for other candidates on the list, by relinquishing the presidential mandate.
Based on the preliminary results, the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo will have eight MPs.
Daut Haradinaj said that he had a moral obligation to support the party leader and candidate for prime minister from this party, Ardian Gjini.
"I had a moral obligation to give this battle reward to Ardian Gjini. I feel sincerely fulfilled and grateful to all those who believed in me, and I will always believe in you. Proud of you who fought like Spartans. I am and will always be an Alliance member, but this time I am leaving my mandate as an MP to make room for others on our fantastic list. I am for and with the people, the mandate is an extraordinary value and respect, but not my only goal. Together, behind and with you Alliance. Congratulations Ardian Gjini, we are proud of you. Especially proud of you who believed in me," Daut Haradinaj wrote on Facebook.
And Ramush Haradinaj has said that they will be more determined than ever to fulfill their duties.
