The counting of votes has been completed in more than 65 percent of polling stations for candidates for deputies from the June 7 elections.

Preliminary results have put Vetëvendosje in first place with 43 percent of the vote. According to current estimates, this party will win 48 seats in the Assembly.

The Democratic Party of Kosovo came in second with 21 percent, or 24 seats.

The Democratic League of Kosovo came third with 17.6 percent or 20 seats.

The alliance has received eight MPs with 7.16 percent of the vote, according to preliminary results.

The counting of votes for candidates so far has shown that there should be no changes to the lists of VV and LDK due to the gender quota that requires at least 30 percent of the deputies of a group to be female.
