AAK's Tolaj: It's time for the white coats to be valued by the state

Arber Tolaj

The Alliance for the Future of Kosovo's candidate for MP, Arbër Tolaj, has said that it is time for the white-coat workers to be valued by the state and provided with better working conditions.

While talking about healthcare on the show "Elections in Time", Tolaj said that the salary increase is very necessary for them.

"It is time for white-coat workers to be valued institutionally, that is, by the state. This is done by respecting them, offering them more dignified salaries and working conditions, as well as offering them the opportunity for continuous professional training," he said.

Tolaj said that one of AAK's main priorities is health insurance, the implementation plan of which will be two to four years.

The AAK candidate further said that they also planned to review the possibility of public-private cooperation, where several basic packages of services would be offered, which would not be able to be provided in public hospitals.

He said that AAK has a plan through which it will also reduce the number of requests for treatment abroad. According to him, training doctors abroad and purchasing new equipment would provide such an opportunity.
