Former LDK MP, Melihate Tërmkolli, has said that the majority of LDK MP candidates win their seats in the Assembly by buying votes.
According to Tërmkolli, this phenomenon has been most pronounced in LDK for at least 15 years and she said she had also encountered such a thing in her votes in 2019.

In 2019, I caught them in massive theft of my votes in Fushë Kosovë, in Gjilan, in Podujeva, etc. In Shtërpcë, for example, where the theft was easily noticeable, out of a total of 300 LDK votes, I had won over 250 of which 100 had been taken away from me, that is, stolen, not by other parties but by so-called LDK people!" Tërmkolli wrote on her Facebook page.
She further said that even in the event of a complaint, "they had their own people there, the crime bosses in political garb!"
The former LDK MP further wrote in her reaction that the theft of votes for MPs within the party has become a phenomenon in other political entities as well.
