The Basic Prosecution Office in Ferizaj has announced that dozens of officials will be interviewed regarding suspicions of vote manipulation in the December 28 elections in the municipalities of this region.
In a press release, the Prosecutor's Office said that after investigations, it found that in the municipalities of Ferizaj and Hani i Elezit there was a low percentage of vote manipulation. While in Shtime, the manipulation was more obvious.
As a result, the Prosecution has announced that it has authorized the Police to interview the heads of the counting centers in Ferizaj and Han i Elezit, while in Shtime the commissioners and heads as suspects.
The prosecution has said that it is still waiting for the final report on Kaçanik and Shtërpcë.
In addition to the Prosecution Office in Ferizaj, prosecutors in other regions have also been activated regarding vote manipulation. On Friday, the Basic Prosecution Office in Gjakova announced that it has requested detention for 22 people. Dozens of officials in other municipalities were also detained days ago.
