During a meeting held with the trade unionists of the Energy Corporation of Kosovo (KEK), the candidate of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) for prime minister, Vjosa Osmani and the member of the LDK Presidency, Hykmete Bajrami, pledged that the concerns of the workers KEK and all other workers in Kosovo will be addressed through the Labor Law.
"Regarding safety at work and working hours, our candidate for prime minister is already clear, we are convinced that the Labor Law will be respected in the private sector, while public enterprises will be the starting point. If the public sector does not respect the Labor Law, how can we claim to move to the next stage in the private sector", the announcement quotes Hykmete Bajram.
She asserted that in the event of a change to the Law on Public Enterprises, the concerns of KEK workers will also be addressed.
Bajrami said that in the governing program of the LDK and the incoming prime minister, Vjosa Osmani, public enterprises will receive significant attention.
