To be a diplomat, politician, state leader, minister or person with public responsibility for the state in times when the world is in turmoil and when a new world order is being written, do not think that it is not an easy job and that it is on everyone's shoulders the weight of the responsibility of the interests of the countries and the peoples they represent falls.

The links of the chains of responsibility are certainly passed on in all segments of society. In this environment, the media certainly constitute one of the main links through fair and impartial reporting in writings and proven journalistic research. I have often mentioned in my diary that we are the only country (at least as far as I know) that has dozens of televisions present on digital platforms and some of them also on national frequencies, which in addition to "analog" and digital also cover digital platforms.

Because of all this, on a daily basis, on "prime time" television broadcasts of political debates on various topics, disconnected from the daily events. They are more or less the same faces and guests who parade from one studio to another, revealing their beliefs, be they political, party, opposition, professional, trade union or even extra-parliamentary opposition.

Also, in each of these studios, panels are formed by former journalists who are now owners of digital mediums, portals or televisions. Often their conversations and arguments do not go beyond the "Sabit Cafe", where you can listen to proven experts of local and global politics accompanied by "cingi-linga", small aluminum spoons that produce distinct sounds every time scramble for the thin walls of the small cups of tea scalded in the famous shards.

We are the only country in the world where no daily newspaper is printed and published. I understand the difficulty and the cost that every serious European or world newspaper faces today. I also understand the trouble the internet causes them and the news releases and updates from moment to moment as they happen. But, on the other hand, I also understand the passion of the daily newspaper reader, who wants to browse his newspaper with his morning coffee or tea, who wants to smell the colors of the printing press, already printed on the paper. recycled paper of his favorite daily newspaper.

The same reasoning applies to avid book readers. With all the possibility of having thousands of titles of works in digital format on your smartphone today, passionate readers still prefer the feeling of holding the book in hand, flipping through the pages, smelling the color of the printed letters. in the book, as well as the physical interaction of the reader with the book.

I don't think that digitization has made it easier for humanity, either the processes or the quality, or even the practice of many things and services in life. But I would like to see digital Talibanism from a different angle.

In the competition for clicks, for viewership at all costs, digital Talibanism has degraded genuine journalism. It has created mercenaries of bombastic titles, violators of the privacy of natural persons, violators of basic human legal rights and all this for the price of a click-bait title on the pages of their digital portals on the Internet.

Many times it happened to me that many friends tell me that they never watch or follow TV debates, simply because they produce toxicity in their lives. This profile of friends is of those who are adequate and proven professionals in their fields.

Of course, each of them knows that everyone's opinion is free, but the time to listen to those opinions is expensive. In balancing between cheap and expensive things in life, each of us prefers life and quality things. Life is too expensive and precious to indulge in the cheap thoughts of Balkan proma.
