Invited to the Tempus show on KTV, Ilir Kërceli, a member of the Kosovo Assembly from the Vetëvendosje Movement, said that it is too early to go to the elections, adding that there are no names from either PDK or LDK.
"The country does not and does not need new elections because not even four months have passed since the electoral process of December 28, 2025 ended and I think that the citizens have voted for the next four years and I think that it is too early for the country, and I believe even a little harmful, to immediately go to new elections now," said Kërçeli.
Furthermore, Kërçeli added that overcoming the crisis is done jointly by all political parties.
"I think we should all find a common language together and elect a president and not trouble the citizens any more and take them to the elections once again, because in the year we left behind we had four electoral processes, including the electoral process for local elections and the runoff, as well as two national elections. So I hope that a common language will be found, a consensual name for the president and we will get through this crisis," said Kërçeli.
Kërçeli said that there were communications about the presidency, but no bargaining for this position.

"Communication is still there today, but not bargaining. There is always communication and bargaining is a big difference, two very opposite directions," said Kërçeli.

Kërçeli: The old ministries have not returned
Invited to the Tempus show on KTV, the Kosovo Parliament member from the Vetëvendosje Movement, during a discussion regarding the number of ministries in the current government led by Prime Minister Kurti, said that the old ministries have not returned.
"The new ministries have not returned to the ministries that were there before. For example, there was the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, while the Ministry of Diaspora has not returned, because these ministries, after the merger, have functioned very well," said Kërçeli.
Kërçeli further said that they have tried to unite those ministries where they have had the opportunity into a single one.
"The same ministries have not been brought back. Initially, the idea was that they could function better, save the budget better, and along the way it was seen that it is better to function - to create some new ministries, to bring some ministries back and join them, some other ministries have been combined, as I mentioned the Ministry of Public Administration and Digitalization," added Kërçeli.
Jakaj: We don't know what the consensual president is like according to VV
Naim Jakaj, senior researcher at the Kosovo Law Institute (KLI), said on the Tempus show on KTV that it is not known based on which criteria and characteristics a consensual president should be according to VV and which according to the opposition parties.
Jakaj said that there is also criticism of the opposition, since a broad political agreement is required, for which it is not known whether this means involvement in the government or only for the election of the president from LDK or PDK. While adding that Prime Minister Albin Kurti has not even invited the AAK political party to a meeting.
Jakaj also emphasized that we are entering a new crisis, which is not much different from that of 2025, adding that there has been a lack of transparency, discussion, and responsible initiative.

Marmullakaj: There is a reason why public consultations exist
Qemajl Marmullakaj, senior researcher at the Kosovo Law Institute (KLI), on the Tempus show on KTV, said that there is a reason why public consultations exist and why the opinions of civil society, professional organizations and business associations should be taken into account.
Regarding this, he said that it is one of the indicators that has been set within the framework of the growth plan.
Marmullakaj said that for the year 2025, the report of the European Parliament's Foreign Affairs Committee calls it a lost year and the reason why this year was lost is due to the "trend of political guilt", which according to him is still continuing.
