Senior researcher at the Democratic Institute of Kosovo, Vullnet Bugaqku, has said that the Kosovo Assembly may enter a new blocking phase.
This is because, according to Bugaqku, in the voting phases for the constitution of the Assembly, MPs who also hold positions in the government also voted.
"We risk once again entering a new blockade of the constitution of the Assembly. Whenever it is considered that the Assembly is constituted. It is enough for one party to send as a matter to the Constitutional Court the fact that there are deputies, ministers or ministers-deputies who participate in the voting procedures for the constitution of the Assembly and these are serious violations, violations that disrupt the constitution of the Assembly", Bugaqku said in "Tempus".
Bugaqku also explained that this issue can be sent to the Constitutional Court by the Ombudsman and other entities.
"This can be done by the Ombudsman and others... If someone tries to further delay the constitution of the Assembly, they have enough dough to send and contest the constitution of the Assembly," Bugaqku said.
He added that the Constitution leaves no room for preventing the representation of a certain community in constitutional bodies.
"The Constitution does not allow for dictating and preventing the representation of a certain community in constitutional bodies. So, the court must clarify this," Bugaqku added. /Oath for Justice
