The messaging platform "WhatsApp", which operates within Meta, broke the record with messages during the World Cup final, which took place on December 18 in Qatar.
The news was made known by the founder of Meta, Mark Zuckerber, who wrote on Tuesday on his Facebook account that during the final, there were 25 million messages per second on WhatsApp.
Zuckerberg also mentioned Leo Messi's World Cup post, which, as he said, is now the most liked in Instagram history.
