The killer is caught thanks to the smart watch

The killer of the mafia boss has finally been caught thanks to the smartwatch. Data from the Garmin (Forerunner) fitness watch provided one of the clues to the crime.

For three years, British police had searched without success for the killer of a mob boss from Liverpool, Paul Massey. He was killed in 2015, while progress in the case came only last year. This crime was finally solved, among other things, thanks to the data from the smart wristwatch, Koha Ditore writes today.

While he is Mark Fellows. One of the key pieces of evidence for Mark Fellows' decisive judgment was the information about his location stored in the smartwatch he was wearing. He used Garmin's Forerunner fitness watch with the GPS option. Thus, the location and movement of Fellows was recorded. When the expert examined the data from the defendant's watch, it turned out that he had researched the terrain and the best routes through which he could reach Massey's house before the murder.
