Musk threatens Microsoft

The head of Twitter, Elon Musk, has threatened to sue Microsoft after accusing the technology giant of using the social network's data without permission, writes the BBC.

"They worked illegally using Twitter data. Time to sue," the multi-billionaire wrote on Twitter.

Musk was responding to Microsoft's plan to remove Twitter from its advertising platform.

As a result, advertisers will not be able to access their Twitter accounts through Microsoft's social management tool.

Musk did not provide other details about the lawsuit, while Microsoft declined to comment on the matter.

Earlier, the company said in a statement that its advertising platform "will not support Twitter" from Tuesday, April 25.
