HTC's yet-to-be-released mid-range phone, dubbed the 2Q7A100, was spotted on Geekbench last month. Not long after, it was also noticed in the AnTuTu benchmark, while it has now been certified by the NCC agency in Taiwan. Although the certification does not reveal new details about the phone's hardware, a draft design has been provided, reports MySmartPrice.
The phone diagram reveals that the HTC 2Q7A100 will look very similar to the Desire 12s, which the company launched in December last year. The device has relatively large bezels at the top and bottom. On the other side, the power and volume control keys can be seen.
The earliest benchmark listings revealed that the HTC 2Q7A100 uses the 10nm Snapdragon 710 chipset, paired with 6GB of RAM. The Full HD+ resolution of 2160 x 1080p, with an aspect ratio of 18:9, has been confirmed. The phone will use the Android 9 Pie operating system, with Sense UI, KOHA Ditore writes.
Given that HTC has yet to launch any phones this year, the 2Q7A100 is more likely to be the company's first smartphone of the year.
