Asus has expanded its TUF Gaming motherboard series for the AMD platform, adding the TUF B450M-Pro Gaming model. The board is positioned above the current TUF B450M-Plus Gaming versions. The motherboard has an improved CPU VRM design, improved VRM heatsinks, more premium sound solutions, additional M.2 slots and more fan slots, reports TechPowerUp.
The TUF B450M-Pro Gaming comes with a 10-phase VRM CPU, while both areas around the VRM are cooled by a significantly larger heatsink. The board is supplied through a combination of 24-pin ATX and 8-pin EPS connectors, KOHA Ditore writes.

Asus has changed the design of the expansion slots to make room for another M.2 slot. The upper slot has PCI-Express 3.0 x4 and SATA 6 Gbps connectors, while the lower one supports PCI-Express 3.0 x2 and SATA 6 Gbps.
The third biggest area that has been improved is the onboard audio solution, which now uses the premium Realtek ALC1220A CODEC. A couple of additional 4-pin fan slots are also present, the gigabit Ethernet solution is unchanged and powered by the Realtek RTL8111H PHY.
The Asus TUF B450M-Pro motherboard will be sold at a price of $99.
