Apple targets schools with cheap iPads

Apple is preparing for the launch of the new iPad, which will be the cheapest ever model of the American giant.

The makers of iPhones have organized an education conference in Chicago and are expected to launch several products.

Bloomberg reports that during this conference, the iPad is expected to be presented at a cheap price, with which Apple intends to enter the education market even more since it is far from rivals Google and Microsoft, reports Koha.net.

High school and elementary school students prefer Google laptops, Chromebooks, and Microsoft Surfaces over iPads or MacBooks.

In addition to the new devices expected to be launched by Apple for a cheaper price, the American giant is also expected to launch an education software.

Apple's cheapest model right now is $329, while the new iPad is expected to cost $260.
