Musk announces another innovation

The head of "Tesla" and the "Space X" company, Elon Musk, has announced on his "X" social network that he will soon launch a new product called "XMail" as an alternative to the "Gmail" service.

"It's coming," Musk replied when asked if he plans to launch the XMail service.

He did not reveal details of when the service might launch.

His comments came in response to a post by X security engineering program member Nate McGrady, who asked, "When are we going to build XMail?".

Musk took ownership of "X", formerly known as Twitter, in 2022 and introduced numerous changes to the social network.

According to Forbes, Gmail currently has more than 1.8 billion active users worldwide, accounting for about 30 percent of the global market for email clients.
