The coach of the Balkans, Ilir Daja, has appreciated the performance of his team against Viktoria Plzeň. He has seen good things, while expressing his displeasure that the Balkans had championship matches on Sunday and thus did not have enough time to prepare for the difficult match in the Czech Republic.
"We did pretty well in the defense phase. We have also had in our situations. With an opponent like Plzeň, in their stadium, we played a good match against a very strong opponent", Daja told Art Motion. He mentioned the strength of Pilsen and the changes made in the Balkan team.
Daja emphasized that the Balkans in Europe represent Kosovar football. He said that it is the locomotive of the Super League and that there should be more understanding about the schedule. It was said that Balkan had a championship match with Dukagjini on Sunday and had little time to prepare for the trip to Pilsen.
"The goal was scored with a deflection and luck was with the opponent. I have something to tell you guys. There are many positives in this match. We don't hide in the field. We control the ball more than the opponent.

He said that Nazmi Gripshi had difficulty adapting to the field, while he praised the game of Gentri Halil and Albin Berisha.
