Aas expected, there were many reactions after the singing of the Kosovo anthem in the "Serbia" hall in the "Serbia" square in East Sarajevo. Eastern Sarajevo is part of the Republika Srpska of Bosnia-Herzegovina, while judokas Flaka Loxha and Dëbora Gjakova, who on Saturday won gold medals in the Balkan Championship for seniors, made it possible to sing the anthem.
For the first time, the anthem of Kosovo was sung in Republika Srpska. This entity, where the influence of Serbia is very large, does not accept the state of Kosovo and does not allow Bosnia-Herzegovina to accept Kosovo.

Kosovar judokas competed for the first time in Republika Srpska and won five medals in the Balkan for adults.
Before the anthem of Kosovo was played, most of the attendees left the "Serbia" hall. Some remained seated disrespecting the anthem and few of those present stood up. The anthem was stopped in half, while the medals distributed were with Serbian motifs. The Kosovar judokas returned the medals during the photo shoot, while their success, although in a solid event, caused a stir.

The pressure of the local Serbs on the leaders of the Republika Srpska Judo Federation is very great. The anthem of Kosovo is also being used for political clashes between Serbs, while the Judo Federation of Republika Srpska has also reacted after the great pressure.
"Since the main problem in the Balkans is the intonation and participation of the (so-called) Kosovo representation, we have an obligation to clarify that (so-called) Kosovo is a permanent member of the European and World Judo Federation as well as the International Olympic Committee and as such has earned the right to participate in all competitions of these organizations. The organizer of international competitions is obliged to adhere to the rules of the European and World Judo Federation. If the rules are broken, the organizer and the federation will face rigorous punishments that could even be expulsion from EJU and IJF, which would be catastrophic for the sport and athletes in Republika Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Judo Federation of Republika Srpska and Bosnia-Herzegovina will notify the EJU and the IJF and will demand that the initiators of all the negative things in the Balkans, for which we have evidence, be sanctioned as they have done great harm to the sport most successful in Republika Srpska and Bosnia-Herzegovina", he wrote in response.
On Monday, the media in Serbia also wrote about the national anthem of Kosovo in East Sarajevo, again made possible by judokas.
"An unforgettable scandal. The anthem of the fake state 'Kosova' in the gym 'Serbia'", is the headline of the newspaper "Kurir".
"Scandal - the anthem of 'Kosovo' in the middle of the 'Serbia' hall", is the title of the medium "Mondo".
Other Serbian media also have titles in this spirit.
Serbia's judokas did not participate in the Balkan because of the appearance of Kosovo.

Kosovar judokas are very successful. They already have five Olympic medals. The list of world and European medals is very long. Balkan medals don't even count for much.
Judokas have made it possible for the Kosovo anthem to be sung in Russia and for the Kosovo flag to be displayed in this country. Now they have caused a stir by enabling the singing of the Kosovo anthem in Republika Srpska, where anti-Kosovo and anti-Albanian attitudes are both in Serbia and in some cases even more pronounced.
