The Kosovo U18 handball team has started its appearance at the "IHF Trophy Intercontinental" with a dramatic victory.
On Thursday evening, in the match held at the Palace of Youth and Sports in Pristina, the young "Dardans" triumphed with a three-goal difference against the Nigerian National Team, 30:27.
In the first half, the Nigerian team had a four-goal lead, but the young Kosovo handball players had a significantly better performance, for the very important victory.
Amar Muqolli, who also won the man of the match award, was Kosovo's top scorer with eight goals. Granit Kadiri and Drijon Istrefi scored six goals in the victory, while Olsi Mulaj contributed five goals.
Goalkeeper Olt Kabashi had a good performance in goal.

The next match within Group B, Kosovo U18 plays against New Caledonia.
With the victory, Kosovo U18 advances to the semifinals as the first in the group.
