Sofia Goggia has scored her first victory of the season in the downhill discipline at the Alpine Skiing World Cup.
The Italian won the competition that was organized on Saturday in her home town, "Cortina d'Amepzzo".
She had a time of 1:33.95 minutes.
Norwegian Kajsa Vickhoff Lie finished in second place, 42 hundredths slower than the race winner, while Italian Federica Brignone finished 55 hundredths behind.
Lara Gut-Behrami finished fourth, 72 hundredths slower than winner Goggia, while the other competitor representing Switzerland, Corinne Suter, finished fifth, 75 hundredths behind.
For Goggian it was the second victory of the season, after the success achieved in Super-G.
