Maja Chwalinska continued her dream of winning the French Open Grand Slam tennis tournament after defeating Anna Kalinskaya.
With Wednesday's triumph, Poland's Chwalinska has reached her first Grand Slam semifinal. She is ranked 114th in the world and won 2-0 in sets, 7-6, 6-3, against 22nd seed Kalinskaya on Wednesday.
Chwalinska's only Grand Slam victory was at Wimbledon in 2022. But she is now on an eight-game winning streak and has a chance to triumph in the prestigious competition in the French capital.
