Athlete Muhamet Ramadani ranked eighth in the shot put at the European Cup in Nicosia, Cyprus, on Sunday.
Ramadani had the best throw of 18 meters and 77 centimeters. The first place went to the Pole Konrad Bukowiecki with a shot put throw of 20 meters and 43 centimeters.
Ramadani's record, 23 years old, is 19 meters and 54 centimeters, achieved in May 2024.
"Eighth place is not bad for the first race. But an unsatisfactory result based on the possibilities and expectations. It was the first race after six months," wrote the athlete's coach, Shaban Ramadani.
