19-year-old Antonelli scores third consecutive Formula 1 victory

Kimi Antonelli

19-year-old Italian Kimi Antonelli has triumphed in his third consecutive Formula 1 race this season. The Mercedes driver won the Miami Grand Prix on Sunday, ahead of McLaren's Lando Norris.

The race started in the race between Antonelli with Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc, where due to an incident in the first corner, Verstappen collided with Leclerc and lost control, dropping significantly in the standings.

During the race there were numerous changes at the top of the list, with McLaren's Oscar Piastrini having the advantage for some time.

Norris finished second, while Piastre was third. Mercedes' George Russell finished fourth, leaving Red Bull's Verstappen in fifth.

The two Ferrari drivers, Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton, finished outside the top five.

Four drivers failed to finish the race, including Hadjar and Gasly, who were involved in accidents early in the race.

Antonelli managed to make history as the first driver to turn his first three pole positions into victories.
