Deontay Wilder could make way for Tyson Fury to face Anthony Joshua, although he has said he will use the clause that secures him a third fight with Fury.
This is what Eddie Hearn, Joshua's promoter, said. Fury scored a big win over Wilder last week to secure the WBC heavyweight world title. Now boxing fans are clamoring for a unifying world title fight between Fury and Joshua. Joshua holds the world titles in other versions.
A match between Fury and Joshua could come as early as June, Eddie Hearn said.
"If I were Deontay Wilder, I wouldn't want that fight with Fury until September or October. So there are two things you can do. First, to allow Joshua and Fury to fight in June or July and then Wilder to fight the winner in November or December. Second, to box Fury quickly and allow Joshua to face the winner. But all can be solved with money. You know what I'm thinking," Hearn told BoxingScene.com.
The well-known promoter has added that "definitely an agreement should be made to give Wilder the money to make way and thus make the Fury-Joshua fight possible".

Joshua has to face Kubrat Pulvein, who is the mandatory opponent. But Hearn says that can be resolved as Bob Arum represents Fury and Pulev.
"But Anthony Joshua doesn't want to wait until September or October to box again," said Hearn.
