On November 12, 2021, Lorenc Trashi played his last match with Albania's jersey. Was the starter against England, as part of the 2022 World Cup qualifiers. He only played the first half.

"It is not that I was very informed about the Kosovo championship. I have looked at it, but not been very informed. From the moment that the Balkans made history in the Conference League, I was attracted to the game of the Balkans and the boys here. I found a good group. This pushed me a lot to come to the Balkans in Kosovo. There was also coach Ilir Daja with whom I did not work, but I had the desire to work. He gave me the opportunity and I hope to repay his trust", Trashi told KOHEN.
Before going to Kuwait, the 31-year-old footballer played for Partizan, Lushnja and Gramsh. It is from Gramshi.
Kosovo is only the third country in Trashi's career. And he is enjoying the experience in Kosovar football to the fullest.
"For the Balkans, it is the second year that they play with dignity in European competitions. I have one more year of contract with the option to extend for another year. If things go well, such as the objectives, we will see what happens in the future", said Trashi.
Trashi had a good performance against Ludogorets last Tuesday. Balkan won 2:0 in Pristina, while the return match is on Wednesday in Razgrad, Bulgaria. It belongs to the first qualifying round of the Champions League.
Trashi hopes to appear with the Balkans in the group stage of the Champions League or the Conference League, where the Suharek team has been very successful for years.
