Bledian Krasniqi has achieved a lot as a 17-year-old. He played for Switzerland's U17 European team, signed his first professional contract and played in the European League. Krasniqi achieved all these successes while he was part of Zuerich, the team to which he returned from a two-year loan to Wili. Thanks to the good performances at Wili, Krasniqi, now 19 years old, signed a new contract with the Zueriuch team a few days ago. He extended his contract until the summer of 2024 and says he is ready for the next step in his career. Krasniqi has scored six goals and assisted four times in 70 games played for Wil.
"My goals are to reach as high as possible in my career", says Krasniqi, born in Zuerich, while his parents are from Gjilan.
In his family, no member has been professionally involved in sports.
"At FC Wil, I benefited a lot as a player, as I was lucky enough to work with two coaches with well-known football careers, Ciriaco Sforzan and Alexander Frein. Especially with the latter, I managed to take the step I needed to grow as a player", he admitted.
Krasniqi in Switzerland is known for his good technique, while he is among the most talented players of the Zurich Academy. He is happy to have returned to Zuerichu, where he expects to be a starter from the new season and win trophies.

"I believe that I have taken the best step, since 12 years earlier I was part of Zurich and there I developed as a footballer. The good talks with the club officials played a role in me continuing to Zuerichu. I signed a contract until 2024, while my goal is to become a starter, win some trophy and then we'll see", said the Kosovar footballer.
The Swiss club also expressed their happiness for Krasniqi's return. The sports director, Marinko Jurendiq, has emphasized that the return of Krasniqi to the team is an added value for Zuerich.
"In his two seasons in the 'Challande League', Blediani was able to develop and mature as a player by regularly playing at a high level for Wil. Blediani is now ready for the next step in his career. We are satisfied with what Blediani has shown at Wili. He will enliven our midfield with his personality", said Jurendiq a few days ago.
Krasniqi has been regularly invited to Switzerland's junior age groups. He has played for all age groups. He recently played a match with the Swiss U20 Team. But, he says that he does not know the future. He has not closed the door to Kosovo, but adds that he is currently focused on the Zurich club.
"Until now I have played for the age groups of Switzerland, but at the moment my focus is on the Zurich club", said Krasniqi.

Krasniqi says that there is nothing concrete about his future. However, he leaves open the possibility of representing Kosovo in the future.
"There hasn't been anything concrete so far, but in the future everything is possible", said Krasniqi.
