Manchester United defender Chris Smalling is close to a move to Italian giants Roma.
Sky Sport Italia reports that the Giallorossi have reached an agreement of 3 million euros with United to loan the English defender, reports Koha.net.
According to these reports, it is said that the option to buy his card is not included in this agreement, while it is expected that Smalling will soon travel to Rome for medical tests.
The 29-year-old joined United in 2010 from Fulham, with whom he has made over 300 appearances, winning the Premier League twice, two cups and a Europa League.
