Avni Gashi and Nazmi Gashi have had a week to find a solution. The solution to the karate community, namely Avni Gashi and Nazmi Gashi, was requested by the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Hajrulla Çeku, during the meeting he had with the representatives of the two Kosovar karate groups.
One group is represented by Avni Gashi and the other by Besart Baruti and Nazmi Gashi. KOHA has learned that Avni Gashi and Nazmi Gashi, until recently collaborators, had a meeting on Wednesday. But they have not agreed to find a solution. Both groups deny the legitimacy of the rival group.
Avni Gashi and Nazmi Gashi will report again on Friday to the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Hajrulla Çeku.
"Not a single step has been taken in terms of positions. There is no withdrawal from either side", a representative of one of the two Kosovar karate groups told KOĖN on condition of anonymity.
Avni Gashi represents the group that claims that he continues to be the chairman of the FKK. Nazmi Gashi represents the group that claims that the FKK has a new chairman, elected last week in the Extraordinary Electoral Assembly.

The Extraordinary Electoral Assembly was called by the general secretary of the FKK, Nazmi Gashi, now dismissed, according to Avni Gashi's group.
The Extraordinary Electoral Assembly was monitored by officials of the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports and the Kosovo Olympic Committee.
KOHA had learned that there were serious violations of the procedures for the extraordinary elections. According to sources, Besart Baruti was elected chairman without delegation. This is because he was proposed by the Mitrovica club, which did not receive a license from MKRS. MKRS representatives also expressed such a position during the work of the assembly.
KOHA also learns that MKRS still recognizes Avni Gashi as chairman and Nazmi Gashi as secretary. But they do not recognize each other's legitimacy.
They have been informed that FKK risks losing its license from MKRS if a solution is not made.

Thus the division in the karate community deepens. There were "activities" from both groups during the week. Even publishing photos to prove their strength. There are doubts about the involvement of third parties as well.
It remains to be seen how MKRS will act with the new federation, which is divided into groups. The past has proven that these divisions hit the sport and the athletes. And least of all the leaders, who adapt in different ways.
