The four Albanian football players of North Macedonia, Visar Musliu, Egzon Bejtullai, Ferhan Hasani and Ezgjan Alioski, sent a message of support to their teammate, Enis Bardhi, on Sunday.
North Macedonia is preparing for participation in the European Championship, while Bardhi is in quarantine. He is isolated in a hotel in Skopje, after receiving a positive result in the test for coronavirus. All the players expect Bardhi to overcome the coronavirus and be ready for the trip to Bucharest, which is scheduled for June 8.
Bardhi is one of the most important players in North Macedonia. Arijan Ademi is also part of the representative team.
The support of the four Albanians for Bardhi is considered important, especially after the uproar of the last few days regarding the jerseys. A strong reaction has made the Federation of Macedonia decide to change the jerseys. This was announced on Sunday by Muhamed Sejdini, president of the Football Federation of North Macedonia. North Macedonia had decided on new jerseys, where the color red dominates. But public pressure, especially from Goran Pandev, made North Macedonia decide to return the old jerseys.
