Elhami Shabani has complained that the judges have unfairly given the victory to the Turkish karate player, Erman Eltemur in the European karate championship that is being held in Gaziantep, Turkey. The Kosovar karate player of the category up to 75 kilograms was stopped in the third fight.
He was defeated by the Turkish karate player Erman Eltemur, while in the first fight in the repechage he defeated the karate player from Denmark, Mads Larsen Viberg.
The next fight for bronze medals is on Saturday against the karate player from Bosnia, Hamza Turulja. Only Shabani has continued the race on the first day of the contestants who competed on Wednesday.
"Next I have the bronze medal fight. I have won four fights and the fight with the Turk was taken away from me by the judges. They hurt me. I was tied 2:2, while the Turk won with senshu. I hope to win the bronze medal", said Shabani on Wednesday for KOHE.
