Sergio Ramos has insisted that he did not want to intentionally hurt Lionel Messi when the pair clashed during last night's match.
Ramos and Messi were involved in a collision during the first half of last night's match in Santiago Bernaeu, where Ramos escaped without being punished with a yellow card as it was his second mistake, reports koha.net.

Messi angrily confronted Ramos.
But Ramos continued to play the game even after this incident and said after the game that Messi "took it in a bad way".
"These things happen in the game," Ramos said.

"I didn't want to get caught with him. However he took this very badly. The referee made his decision and that's the end of it for me," added Ramos.
Meanwhile, Gerard Pique has criticized Ramos for his collision with Messi, saying that "Leo had blood in his mouth, and was aggressive".
