Salihu: We are in favor of the rule of five substitutions

The general secretary of the Football Federation of Kosovo, Eroll Salihu, has said that FFK is in favor of applying the rule of five substitutions in the match, if this is allowed by the highest football authorities.

FIFA has proposed to the IFAB to allow five substitutions per match until the end of 2021. This decision has been taken by FIFA as the players will have multiple workloads, with multiple matches in a row, after the return of football from the mandatory break due to of the coronavirus.

"We are also in favor of preserving the health of the footballers and if we do not have bans from UEFA, then we can practice making five substitutions in the match. It is an extraordinary situation and there can be tolerance and improvisations", said Salihu for KOKHE.
