Luis Rubiales has resigned from the post of president of the Spanish Football Federation, after constant criticism for kissing the player Jenni Hermoso during the World Cup for soccer players.
Hermoso had emphasized that it was not consensual to be kissed on the lips by the president of the federation.
"I can't continue my work", said 46-year-old Rubiales. Multiple procedures have been opened against Rubiales related to the action at the title party. The pressure on him was great and Rubiales offered to resign on Sunday.
