Sigal Prishtina has qualified for the semifinals of the Kosovo Cup in basketball. On Wednesday night at the "Shani Nushi" gym in Gjakovë, in the presence of tens of spectators, Prishtina defeated Proton Cable Prizren with the result 108:90. This was the last match of the quarter-final stage.
In the semi-finals, on Thursday from 20:00, Pristina meets Bashkimi. The first semi-final is between Trepça and Golden Eagle Yllit, while it is played from 17:00.
Proton Cable Prizren won the first quarter with a score of 26:17. But that was all from this team. Prishtina dominated the other three quarters for a convincing victory.
Captain Dardan Berisha led Pristina with 27 points, five rebounds and three assists. Derrick Wilson had 14 points, eight assists and five rebounds. Henrik Shirko contributed 15 points and four rebounds.
In Prizren, Ty Cockfield had 21 points and six assists. Arti Hajdari scored 23 points and had three rebounds. Urim Zenelaj finished the game with 13 points and eight rebounds, but the contribution from the other players was missing.
